Introduction Living and loving...creating and enjoying...painting, writing, planting and harvesting...those are the joys that make me want to see the sun come up in the morning...as long as it doesn't happen too early.
Interests Visual arts in every shape and form. My own personal addiction is to painting, oil and watercolor in particular. Love music, film, the outdoors -- especially the oceans and the beaches. Adore wildlife and animals of every sort. Fascinated by languages and literature. And wonderful, creative people, of course. Perhaps I left out my dogs because I tend to include them as my best friends, part of my family, an essential, loving part of my life.
Favorite Movies I almost want to say "All of them!" I adore the invention, the talent, the music, the costumes, the voices, the images. "The Strange Story of Benjamin Button" is one movie that blew me away, and "Gosford Park" is one of my all-time favorites. Lately? Loved "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Great series.
Favorite Music Riverwalk Jazz! It doesn't get any better than that. Unless, maybe it is the music of Andre Paraguassu who happens to be my son, but is a talented, creative musician in spite of that. He and his band, Book of Colors were on AM Radio 1690 recently. A CD is promised soon. They've got it in progress.
Favorite Books Just like the movies, it is usually the last one I have read. I've just finished "The Human Stain" by Phillip Roth. What an incredible writer. A while back I read "The Painted Word" by Tom Wolfe. Love the way he grips his language, swings it around, slaps it upside the head and puts a spin on it.

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Flexibility means rolling with the punches. Expandability means growing and going for the high ground. I would choose the latter. Always have. Sometimes I get there, sometimes I don't, but I keep trying.
