Introduction	Derrick has over 14 years experience in the home building industry and has held the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for both Mercedes Homes and Newmark Homes. The Austin Home Builder Association has previously honored Derrick as Sales Manager of the Year and finalist for Rookie Salesperson of the Year. A proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin, Derrick received his Bachelors degree in 1983 in Business Management. Prior to entering the home building industry, he has accented his career in commercial mortgage brokerage, property tax consulting, commercial real estate appraisal and commercial brokerage. Derrick brings an enormous amount of experience in the areas of new construction, sales training, and team leadership. He is also a Realtor and a real estate Broker.
