Introduction i started blogging to keep family in touch with our everyday b/c we're moving -> to rwanda, africa! i continue blogging b/c it's a great de-stresser for me (when i get the time to do it)! i have the great pleasure/challenge of raising our 3 beautiful children. in between the chaos of teaching, cleaning, diapering & cooking, i'm learning kinyarwanda (the 7th most difficult lang for an american to learn). i love my god, i love my family, i love crafts (specifically sewing) & thanks to a dear friend, i love coffee (as long as there's enough cream & sugar in it)!!! p.s. have i mentioned i HATE using capital letters?!?
Interests life is often hard, but it's good! you have to work at things, but in the end they're worth the extra effort! i'm learning everyday how to love people better and tell them about someone else who loves them too...both come with loving jesus better! sometimes I fail miserably, but HE's still working on me. i'm married to the "ever-so-special" joseph and we have the 2 most adorable sons in the whole world, owen and aiden. really, it's not just b/c i'm their mom that i think that! just take one look and you'll feel the same. owen is super smart and loving, aiden just lights up a room already and BOTH can make you smile instantly. we have also recently added to our family with a super sweet little girl, sophia! i am very thankful for the gift of all of them! i'm fascinated with many things in this world --photos, colors, designs, crafts, exercise, laughter, simplicity, smiles, choco chip cookies, love, creation, cooking, babies, relationships, people, places, etc. speaking of places...i want to see them...ALL OF THEM!!! soon we are headed in a direction to see many more.
Favorite Movies yes! i like em all!
Favorite Music wide variety! usually don't know band names or song names, but these are ones i know that i like...sarah watkins, rosie thomas, the be good tanyas, jeremy camp, weezer, dashboard confessional, jimmy eat world, jars of clay, norah jones. i could go on and on, but i think that's enough!
Favorite Books i've sadly never been much of a reader, but some books just have the power to draw me in. i usually can go for ones about WWII (ie"coorie ten boom), and i love the swindoll character books. there is one book that i try to read the most, even if i've already read it thru before -the bible.
