Occupation | Retired and a pain in the neck. |
Location | North Vancouver, British columbia, Canada |
Introduction | Retired after a successful career in high tech. Well at least I thought so! And yes, those are my painted toe nails - dark blue haha. |
Interests | Curious about just about everything. However I draw the line at Jimmy Choo shoes. |
Favorite Movies | Too, too many to list. Apocalypse Now, Unforgiven, Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan and LA Confidential stand out. |
Favorite Music | Rock, from the fifties du-wop to Metallica and Husker Du, with a bit of Lucinda Williams, Lou Reed, Sonic Youth, Tom Petty and Pearl Jam thrown in. |
Favorite Books | Again, too many. I read about 15 to 20 books a year. The following made an impression on me: Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy, The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman, 1984, Catcher In The Rye, The Handmaid's Tale, A Bend in the River by V. S. Naipaul. Stalingrad by Antony Beevor, and finally and most recently The Invisible Bridge by Julie Orringer. |
Eventually everything will be made clear.
