Introduction Elizabeth Williams lives in New Orleans where she is President of the Southern Food and Beverage Museum and also Consulting Professor at the Kabacoff School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, University of New Orleans. The Southern Food and Beverage Museum is a new museum scheduled to open in New Orleans, which celebrates the culture, history and industry of food and beverage of the American South. She also consults on issues of public/private partnerships, nonprofit governance and philanthropy, culinary history and culture, and teaches various law related courses. She writes on issues of food and law. Prior to her work with SoFAB, she was the President and CEO of the University of New Orleans Foundation and for many years was engaged in the private practice of law. She is a former Army JAG officer, living in Europe for three years eating her way around the continent. She has a BA in English and a JD from Louisiana State University.
