Introduction	The Prefecture Apostolic of the Marshall Islands got divided from the Diocese of the Carolines-Marshall Islands and erected on August 15, 1993. It was committed to the Society of Jesus, New York Province. On January 1, 2008 it was committed to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (M.S.C.). The area is that of the Republic of the Marshall Islands which is related by Compact of Free Association to the United States of America. Square Miles: 500,000 Population: 52,558 Members at present: Prefect Raymundo Sabio, MSC Fr. Tito Y. Maratas, MSC Fr. Ariel A. Galido, MSC Fr. Tetoaiti Tokanikai, MSC Fr. Victor Langhans
