| Introduction | Began practicing meditation in 1966. Began practicing Zen continuously in 1973. Attended U.C. Berkeley, College of Environmental Design for 4+ years. Worked in various part time jobs, in order to have the maximum amount of time for practicing Zen. Have taken 4 sabbaticals of more concentrated Zen practice (away from school and jobs), the shortest of which was ten months, and the longest was about a year and a half. |
