IntroductionI'm just a chick from Kansas with a huge love of Chicago and travel. I consider myself to be an adventurous, nerdy, insightful, goofy, loyal, fun-loving, sarcastic, optimistic pain in the butt with an insatiable appetite for learning currently trekking through the maze that is life. Someday soon - as in about 5 years from now - I see myself graduating from a master's program to become a clinical psychologist and moving on to my doctorate. Afterward I may consider relinquishing my player card (haha), settling down, having a couple munchkins, all that jazz... minus that ugly white picket fence of course.
InterestsBaking, psychology, travel, tattoos, art, kisses, life, dry humor, hugs not drugs, sarcasm, music, movies, dancing, reading, writing, theatre, debate, cuddles, concerts, hookah bar, bar hopping, nerding it up, meditation, yoga, nature walks, camping, hiking, observing, wine tastings, softball, taking my children to the park (they are dogs), picnics, savoring the details in life

Favorite booksI love and hate books of all kinds. I will say that I was a huge fan of Elizabeth Gilbert's before "Eat, Pray, Love" became a movie starring Julia Roberts as said awesome author... and classic literature is a discussion in and of itself for me. Emerson: "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!"
