| Introduction | Mike Lawler is a self-taught illustrator who grew up in a small town in Georgia. After high school, he spent a brief period in the Navy where he met his wife, and the mother of his children Maria, whose Naval career has taken them all over the country. During this time Mike attained a degree in game design and caught a glimpse of digital art. For several years he worked on 3d modeling, simulation, computer based training, and various multimedia related jobs. In 2010, when his family moved to San Diego, he decided to focus on illustration and design. Since then, he has worked on projects involving miniature design, concept art, illustration, and he has even drawn a few comics. Over the years, his clients have included Red Leaf Comics, 300 Posts Publishing, Titan-Forge Miniatures, Chapterhouse Studios, Assault publishing, the United States Military, and many more. It's been a wild and varied ride up until this point and the best is yet to come! |
