| Introduction | Hello and welcome to my blog! I am of course a Black man born and raised in the good old US of A. Cleveland, Ohio to be exact and currently residing in the Lone Star state, Texas. I use the words Black man instead of African American because I'm old school. And because I was born into and live in a society where the color of one's skin is a big deal. I know, some would have you believe that the previous statement is not true, but I submit to you that it is. In my life experience, skin color, race, sex, sexual orientation and religious belief are only a few of the factors that influence the treatment of people in this country. So, why did I start this blog. Well, for some reason, it seems that everything that occurs in life now has distinct and important ties to the past. Every subject imaginable from working to politics to religion to technology is in sharp focus. Aside from writing a book, this is fantastic way to record and share daily events that transpire in my life. So, as Chris Cuomo likes to say, "Let's get to it!" |
