| Introduction | My daughter thinks I should start blogging. I'm not really sure. I've always been so private and felt that sharing emotions and life experiences outside of family was weird and a sign of insecurity and weakness. But I have recently been diagnosed with cyclothymic disorder which is classfied as Bipolar. At first I was devastated. But as my treatment progressed, my whole life has changed for the better. The person I've always wanted to be is finally beginning to come forth. So, if by sharing my progress I could possibly help someone to accept their illness, then I won't consider myself weird or weak. May God bless us all but most especially--at least for me at this moment--I ask for a special blessing on those who are locked within the cage of their own mind. May someone enter their life who has the key to helping them be set free. |
