Introduction | Hector Falcon Villa was born in 1974 in Mexico City, but grown since the 80’s in Queretaro, Mexico. He holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences form Tec de Monterrey and a Master degree in Applied Creativity from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Nowadays he is a first year MFA in Film and Media Arts student in Temple University. On the early 2000’s he co-wrote the short films: “… Ni de día” (2003) and “The Perfect Day” (2004) before doing his own surrealistic-erotic-comedy “All about it” (2007) with the sponsor of Mexican National Film Office (IMCINE). His work has been broadcasted in Mexican and Latin American TV, and shown in international film festivals including Tribeca, Palm Spring, LA Latino, Fort Lauderdale, Guadalajara and the Interfilm of Berlin. Before coming to Temple as a Fulbright scholar, Hector was director of the Tec de Monterrey’s Centro de Medios and a faculty member of the Communication Department. |
