Introduction	Douglas Poppe is a brazilian comic artist who currently works with illustration and the creation of his own comic book project, Iniciativa Babel. After returning from an one year exchange studying travel on Japan, Doug has sought to improve his abilities and technical skills as an artist and to the development of a true form of critical thinking which would become a great influence into his work. His endless pursuit for a way to express a particular and unique point of view that is capable enough to withstand this delirious world and its reality is the main engine that drives his forward.
