| Introduction | I am a product of the public school system from kindergarten through my undergraduate degree in education from UNC Chapel Hill. I have worked in public and private schools, both urban and suburban. I have an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I believe teachers, families, and communities should have a stronger voice in the debate on education reform. I believe students deserve more than standardized testing and scripted programs.
