| Introduction | Bits Boy grew up in a comic book-loving family, with his dad a fervent collector who bought ADVENTURE COMICS #247 off the stands. The interest was passed on to BB, who started buying his own comics from the mid-60s, eventually inheriting the whole comic collection, which today numbers about 30,000, including several complete runs from the 60s onwards. The Legion always appealed to him and he strove to acquire a collection of every Legion-related item possible. BB was involved in the golden age of Legion fandom, including the days of the original Legion fan club, the Legion Outposts, and the first 15 years of the APA Interlac. His work has been published in several media, and includes a project compiled with the aid of Paul Levitz. He also runs the completist Legion website www.thelegionofsuper-heroes.com |
