| Introduction | This blog is a way to update friends & family on our trials and tribulations associated with infertility. DH and I have been married since 2006. We've been receiving IF treatment since Jan 2010. Neither of us has any children or any prior pregnancies. When I started this blog in 2011, I was 36 years old (and DH was 29). After 7 unsuccessful IUI's (4 with clomid, 3 with stim shots), we moved onto IVF. However, IVF#1 terminated when we were diagnosed as both being CF carriers. Referred to geneticist to explain how that could impact our TTC decisions. Because our local RE (we only have 1 in our city!) has so little experience with PGD, we're now receiving treatment at CCRM (in Colorado), the best fertility clinic in the country. We had our DD in March 2012 as a result of CCRM treatment! We are now trying for #2 with CCRM. |
