www.chrisjackson.ca Last year, to celebrate World Tapir Day, I made 30 clocks. The year before that it was 'Taprons' (Tapir inspired Aprons). In 2010 I painted thirty 4" x 5" canvases. In 2009 I made thirty wooden tapirs. All the money raised from these four projects went to the Tapir Preservation Fund. This year I intend to produce thirty Kalimbas (thumb pianos). Once again the amount you give will be entirely up to you. Apart from the main theme of fund-raising, the project is a chance to develop designs, investigate process and create a chance for friends, colleagues to come together for a fun cause. |
