Introduction	I am an elementary school art teacher from beautiful Washington State. This is my 12th year teaching art. Before that I taught 8 years of kindergarten and 2 years of a multi-grade classroom. I am married (37 years this year) and have two children and two grandchildren. I enjoy reading, am an amateur musician and play several instruments. You can find me on youtube under guitarmandandandan. I started taking Jazz lessons and am currently way over my head. But loving it. I teach guitar after school as well. I love teaching art and it is one of the great joys of my life. I love teaching the little ones especially but do enjoy teaching every grade level (K-5). I hope to share some of my philosophy of teaching, lesson plan ideas, and tips and tricks (and slips) I've found useful. I hope you benefit from my the things I share. Please drop me a line anytime. Interests	Reading, playing the guitar (and playing in my band) spending time with my grandchildren, working in the yard.
Favorite movies	I like so many different ones!
Favorite music	Current jazz and I LOVE Eva Cassidy. But there is not much in music I don't like.
