Introduction	Grew up in Cape Breton,Nova Scotia. I completed my first triathlon at the age of 13, on a mountain bike from Canadian tire .In my younger days I cross country skiied race,which took me to 2 Canada winter Games & many Championships, I can say proudly that I use to compete against our Olympians such as Becky Scott,Sara Renner & Melaine Theriault(she grew up in N.B)she kicked my butt more then once lol! Came out Banff/Canmore to follow my dream of being a electrician,,,,sounds wierd I know,,,not the dream every girl has.But for some reason it was the right fit for me. I worked my way up in the trade,receiving My Journeyman's ticket,becoming a master and then being a partner in the company I worked for. Since then I have gone on to becoming the first women in Alberta to reach the status of a Professional Electrical Contractor. I truly beleive that you can accomplish any goal, that you put your mind too. After all anything is Possible! Now I am setting my sites on athletic goals again.Last few years I have started running marathons etc, this year I added triathlons ( way more exciting)and now I have this dream of becoming an ironman.
