Introduction	If there is one thing I get deep satisfaction and happiness from, it is sewing. Sewing is therapy as well as artistry. I learned to sew, literally at my grandmother's knee. I will never forget the revelation I felt when she taught me to make doll clothes simply with scraps, needle, and thread. Now I am a grandma, and hope that there will soon be kids coming to me who want to learn to sew.
