| Introduction | JM&D is a wild combination of rock & roll influences from the 50's, 60's and 70's. There are elements of surf rock, rock & roll, punk and garage rock littered throughout their songs. Jonny has played guitar, bass or drums in The Cliftons, Clay Wheels, Fang, Texas Thieves, The Forgotten, The Odd Numbers & The Resistoleros. Influenced by Chuck Berry, Dead Boys, Link Wray, Little Richard, The Sonics, The Stooges, The Ramones, Johnny Thunders, etc. Since 2006, they released 5 full length albums and 2 EPs on CD, vinyl and digitally. The band is Jonny on guitar/lead vox, Neil Young on bass/vox and Thor Dsr on drums. With music featured in action sports videos, advertisements (Wahoos Fish Tacos/Pepsi/Vans Shoes/Spitfire Wheels/Nike US Open of Surf 2012/Verizon/Sprint) documentaries, feature films (Nitro Circus 3D), MTV shows(Viva La Bam, Home Wreckers, Nitro Circus, Fantasy Factory, Maui Fever, The Dudesons, Ridiculousness), Adult Swim (Loiter Squad) Fuel TV (Vans Protech Pool Party) and Fuse. DICKHOUSE PRODUCTIONS & VIACOM hire Jonny to write music for their shows & films. The band was given the 2012 Silicon Valley Music Award for Best Punk. |
