Introduction Denis Casavant started his broadcasting carreer in 1982 at the radio station CKCH in Hull, Quebec. In 1986, he joined Jacques Doucet and Rodger Brulotte on the Montreal Expos radio broadcast for CKAC in Montreal. In September of 1989 he made the move to the RDS television network as the play-by-play commentator of the Montreal Expos. Denis has also done play-by-play of the NFL since 2001 for RDS and has become the voice of the Montreal Alouettes with Pierre Vercheval for the past 4 seasons. Casavant, 42, has also been part of the RDS coverage of the last summer Olympics in Sydney and Athens, doing the play-by-play for basketball. His favorite broadcasters: Jacques Doucet , Dave Van Horne and Dick Enberg. He lives in Notre-Dame de l'Ile Perrot with his wife of 19 years, Lynne, and their two sons Mathieu, 16 and Daniel, 14.

Favorite Movies The Godfather, Mississippi Burning, Eight Men Out, Rounders, Erin Brockovich, Fargo, Goodfellas, Seven, Forrest Gump, Unforgiven, Gladiator, Rocky, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and many many more. To me a great movie is one that makes you stop and watch anytime it is playing on TV, even if you've seen it before.
