| Introduction | My name is Karlie Oliver, and I believe in making a difference in the world. Volunteering abroad has become a part of me and has changed my life in many ways. Things you see when you travel are unimaginable. When people reach out to others it creates a community, and that community creates hope and smile on peoples faces. People can live with so little yet we always want more and forget about the little things that are significant. Different poverty stricken countries face different barriers and environments, but they all take advantage of important things in life such as family and community. The more I travel the more I learn about the important things in life. |
