| Introduction | What, dear reader, do you want to know? What delicious details will convince you that I am not a lunatic, a troll, a woman scorned? I'll do my best: I'm a happy, healthy, smart, funny, over-educated, underpaid professional, who grew up as part of an "intact" family. I'm a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a cousin, a god-daughter, and a god-mother. I've been as confused as anyone else about romantic love, but feel that my dogged pursuit of something that at least resembles truth has led me to some insights worth sharing. Along with the typical array of minor relationships, I've had four "major" ones, including one wedding ceremony that never resulted in a marriage license (phew!). Right now, I have great friends, a great job, in a great city, and am living in a great apartment, involved in some great volunteer organizations and dating a great boyfriend--I'm pretty much the Husband-Free poster child. I hope to get the word out there about Husband-Freedom, and to get a really cute dog, soon. |
