| Introduction | I've been a librarian/media specialist for more than two decades at the elementary level and this is my first year as a middle school librarian/media specialist. |

| Interests | My very favorite thing to do is connect students and books...I will even borrow from the local public library for students if we don't have the book or we need more copies. Family, friends, libraries, books, reading, dogs, traveling, baking (sometimes), riding a bike, and walking are also what I look forward to outside of school. My husband and son would probably like me to mention the Atlanta Braves and Indianapolis Colts...so consider them mentioned! |
| Favorite movies | Two of my favorite movie are old ones since I don't go to movies very much and when I do go, I tend to FALL ASLEEP! One that still makes me laugh is "What's up, Doc" and I also like a more obscure one called "Silver Streak" that is a train movie. Oh, I like trains too! |
| Favorite music | Actually, I like several different kinds of music--some country, some classical like Mozart and Strauss, and bands like Arrowsmith and VanHalen as well as the other end of the spectrum--Billy Joel. |
| Favorite books | My favorite book is by Harper Lee. Maybe you know what it is? I also like the mystery genre and adventures too. I am not big into ghosts, werewolves or fantasy. |
