| Introduction | Born in a Dakhni Muslim family in RANNY Kerala. Graduated from the Sree Narayana College in Quilon and post graduated from University College, Trivandrum. Took PhD from the Department of Economics of Aligarh Muslim University in 1975. Further acquired MPM and LL.B. Degrees from the Pune University.Worked as a Professor and Head under the Poona University. Joined Pondicherry Central University and currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Management studies of Pondicherry Central University. Worked as Director of International College, Ajman and also as President/Vice Chancellor for the Middle East University, Ajman. Wife Dr. Anisa Basheer Khan is Professor and Head of the Ecology Department of Pondicherry University. Two children - the eldest girl is an MBA from a US University and the son is a Senior Software Engineer in a US MNC. Praise be to the Almighty for a contented, but active life. Have been active all through the educational career first as a student activist, later activist of the teachers at the College and University level.Produced many PhDs & travelled globally.Experienced in academics for 38 years and an author of books and papers. |
