| Introduction | My writing is very personal to me, for a long time others opinions mattered until I realized those opinions are irrelevant. I write for me not for anyone else. Yes my writing can be dark; it’s a release of MY emotions. They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. BULLSHIT; it fucks you up mentally turns your world inside out, after you think you can’t take anymore something comes and changes you forever. Maybe I’m stronger; I’m also fucked up emotionally, a beautiful mess. You don’t know how much you can take until you can. I am working on new project, The Butterfly Survival Diaries, since my accident in December of 2012 my life changed forever. I’ve been diagnosed with several autoimmune disorders, my life before was not easy, I lost the love of my life, and have been through things that people will never go through in a lifetime. I’m choosing to share this now because I have lost so much and have been alone through much of it, I want others to know they are not alone. Check out my other blogs The Political Corner and OutofLifeOutofMind. Politics are a passion and I plan to start updating this one. The other one is my poetry I wrote before I got sick. | Interests | Writing has always been my passion, since my accident in December of 2012 it does not come as easy as it once did. I have found other way to release my emotions in journaling, painting, arts and crafts, being an advocate and of course football. I have never lost my passion for music; it is still what fuels my creativity. I have found my enjoyment for reading once again in audio books. Meditation and mindfulness is also a big part in my life as I learn to cope with my constant pain, depression and guilt. As I mentioned above every fall I gear up for my favorite time of year football!! I love my Denver Broncos win or lose. I joined a group and with the people I met I started writing again, I owe The Mile High Horsemen so much. I am no longer with that group but with a different group of people who are my family and they have truly brought my life back even in the darkest of times. Thank you guys, you know who you are! |
| Favorite Music | Music is the soundtrack of my life. To pick one genre is like picking my favorite child, its not possible. What I listen depends on my mood, I listen to classical, rock, R&B, oldies, alternative, indie, anything that you can think of. One thing I can say is music is one of my passions. |
