| Introduction | Hi, I'm Donna, lover of words, books, coffee, God, gardening and my family... not necessarily in that order! I left the fundamentalist cult I was brought up in at the age of 23, and have had almost no contact with my family since then. Despite losing almost my entire family, my friends and my culture, my faith in God somehow remained intact, and is still the bedrock of my life. My church experiences range from fundamentalist to charismatic to Anglican, which is where I now find myself - much to my surprise. I live with my husband and 4 raucous children on a lifestyle block in rural New Zealand, and have just finished treatment for breast cancer. I am a proud survivor! |
