Introduction	This blog is written by Cassandra Heneghan: I’m a creative, fun-loving cook and have been passionate about food ever since I was a kid. My mum is the food editor of a national women’s magazine and definitely the inspiration for my love of cooking and eating good food. One of my favourite memories is sitting on the kitchen bench when I was young watching my mum effortlessly whip up her famous treats. MY BACKGROUND I’m a home economist and currently work for small appliance brand Kambrook. In November 2009, I set up my blog The Courageous Cupcake, which indulges my sweet tooth and features lots of different types of cakes that I love to make for my family and friends. Before I started working as a home economist, I worked as a chef, barista and waitress as well as made wedding cakes for private functions.
