| Introduction | I'm a North American based in the Netherlands. I have a primary school-aged son who is enrolled in the Dutch school system. Doing my best to give him relevant formal and informal learning opportunities by mashing up the best of European and North American learning approaches, tools and experiences. By day, I work in innovation consulting, working with businesses, governments, education institutes and other organizations to use new technologies and develop new collaborations with entrepreneurs, technology developers and students to create new products, services and solutions. The million dollar question for me is: how do you give a child learning experiences which prepare them for a future centred around technology, creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurial zeal? |
