Introduction I am basically an I.T. post graduate -worked in Mumbai - when came to Sharjah and after child birth selected to be full time mother. Once my son was in 11th there was less independence and I started searching myself. I started cooking at the age of 7 years ....they were not big tasks. I would make tea rejecting what was made by our maid My parents always encouraged me. My baba was very proud of me.Before marriage I had nearly 100 cookbooks in my collection. I also thank my late mother-in-law who made sure that I can made rotis which I never made. She used to keep 2 rotis to make for me in the night. I learned many things from my Aai but even today she is the best. After coming to Sharjah, Rajani my neighbour in Mumbai also took me under her wings and taught me intricate details. I always remained a student and will continue to do so. In this journey I learned Thai cooking from my sister and her husband who were in Thailand and learned standing near the chef of little restaurant near their house. Last but not least my husband who without complaining tasted all my dishes and my dear son he eats anything that I make.
