Introduction	I started this blog as a way to keep myself honest. The year I turned 33 (2013), I decided to dedicate that year to being "better", and chronicling my journey. With the purchase of our first house, I began to explore the possibilities for my life as an Earth steward, community organizer, and as a person who might be able to get things done. Now, the blog has morphed into a project of dog, chicken, and garden worship, and a place where I get to share my trials, errors, and love of learning new things. And that's more than okay, because I love a good project.
Interests	I'm curious about most things, but what's really floating my boat these days follows: homesteading, sustainability, backyard chickens, living mindfully, community engagement, pit bull and rescue advocacy, diy projects, the outdoors, green-thumbing, you know, hippy stuff.
