| Introduction | Mellissa: Welcome to my broken down palace... I live in a beautiful (well OK maybe not quite yet) but someday will be dream home! My home is a 1930's two storey character home, which right now is in need of a complete face and body lift ;) I love it.... but sadly, lets just say its more like the movies funny farm and the money pit ;) In a much shadier urban area. Carmen: I currently live a new bungalow completely devoid of all charm, located in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and people post notices of their missing cats, dogs and pigs at the local corner store! It's small town living at it's best! Join Mellissa and I as we take our homes from boring and tired to fresh and inviting one room at a time. Come along as we recycle, refurbish and repurpose everyday items into cheap, affordable accessories, experiment with paint, wallpaper and sewing learning how to do it ourselves! |
