Introduction	I am a graduating student at Sacramento State. I have been working as an intern with the Sacramento Police Department since September 2008 in the Forensic Identification Division, or FID. Within FID, I am asked to make photocopies for the District Attorney, I help with fingerprint identification and printing, as well as maintaining the chain of evidence. I have also gone on multiple ride-a-longs with the Crime Scene Unit. In fact, on Thanksgiving of 2008, I helped out at a homicide scene: to mark evidence, search for evidence, and collect evidence. This is my field of interest: forensics and crimes scene investigation.
