| Introduction | As a two time “Capital Educators Award Nominee”, Curriculum and Program Review Consultant and faculty at Sheridan College, Heather’s passion for learning stems from an early career in regional sales and business development. Inspired to give back to the community, she began teaching at Algonquin College in Ottawa back in 2007. With several years experience in blended and digitally assisted learning she was inspired to pursue an MEd in at Athabasca University which fostered her interest to research in active learning and teaching practices for the online environment. |
