| Introduction | The Good Shepherd Children's Home (GSCH) exists to provide a loving home for the abandoned, abused, and neglected children of Honduras. GSCH, a ministry of Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International is located in the el Zamarano Valley, only 45-minutes from Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. The founders, Greg and Eva Vaughn, originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, established the Good Shepherd Children's Home and the Good Shepherd Christian Academy in 1997. Since 2009, Kevin and Julie McKenzie, from Senatobia, Mississippi, have been serving as sub-directors. Kelly and Trisha Lawrence, from Woodburn, Kentucky, arrived in April 2010 and are serving as sub-directors. Together, we are all living, working, and helping care for God's children. |
