Introduction	My name is Jennifer, and I have been a horse show mom for the past 10 years. My children ride with Karin Folkers Smith at Windy Hill Farm in Monroe, VA, and we are active members of the American Saddlebred Horse Association of Virginia (ASHAV). My oldest daughter, Morgan, became involved with American Saddlebreds at the age of 11, and showed with much success - she was the ASHAV 14-17 Equitation champion 3 years in a row, and she and her horse, Copper Fox, were ASHAV Jr. Exhibitor 14-17 Show Pleasure champions as well. Her younger sister, Jordan, who is now also 11 years old, is now following in her footsteps. Jordan has been riding since she was 4, and has been competing since she was 6. She debuted in 10 & Under walk & trot at the age of 8, and one year later was showing in Pleasure Pony WTC. My son, Logan, rides occasionally, but he is now a teenager and has become more interested in video games and teenage things. LOL This blog will document our adventures both in and out of the show ring. Check back often as I post our horsey adventures!
