| Introduction | Born and rasied in Washington Court House Ohio and attended Miami Trace High School. I was the Field Commander of the Pep/Marching Bands and majored in Music Education at Otterbein. I love libraries and have been working in them since I graduated from college. There was a little Carnegie library in my home town that I loved. I always felt like I was at home when I was at the library. I have worked for Columbus Metropolitan Library for about 23 years now. Started out working at the Otterbein College library in 1982. My husband Rick and I have an adopted son named Jordan. He is twelve now and very into skateboarding. I love my family because it is very diverse..I guess you could say we are an American melting pot family. We have pretty much someone from every walk of life.. sure makes it interesting. |

| Favorite movies | Hairspray and Grease (love musicals) Titanic, Message in a Bottle, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad world (I used to watch that every new year's eve with my dad), Benji (my childhood favorite), Grease (my high school favorite), and Flashdance (from the 80's) and Amadeus (from my college years). I love the music by Whitney Houston movies like The Preacher's Wife and The Body Guard.. |
| Favorite music | I love all kinds of music. From barogue classical (my college major) and country to pop, to R&B and light jazz..even some rap and an educated appreciation of blue grass. |
| Favorite books | I read non-fiction.. the book that most affected me at the time was PUSH..and A MILLION PIECES even though Oprah discovered it was a bit of a lie..guess it should have been cataloged a fiction title! |
