Introduction	So here is a little "about me." I am 21 years old which means the '08 election was my first opportunity to vote, yet i didn't. According to my political ideology I am liberal which is not the least bit surprising. I have always considered myself a Democrat yet I didn't feel like I had educated myself enough on the issues at hand to make a legitimate decision. And that is exactly what i hope to gain from this class, a better understanding of our government so when the next election rolls around I WILL vote and realize that it matters.
