| Favorite movies | My favorite movie is a toss-up. I love the film Contact. The concept of first contact still thrills me, but I have found my first fandom- and so I also love Serenity, based on the TV show, Firefly. If we let business operate without restriction, we end up with BlueSun. |

| Favorite books | I'm a Sci-Fi fanatic... from Asimov to McCaffrey, but I still read bodice rippers, historical romance, ACTUAL HISTORIES, classics- tho the serial stuff drives me nuts. Too little action, too much description. Paying by the word gets you drek. |
What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
Dear gods... that was a long time ago. I stayed up to watch Monty Python's Flying Circus. Our TV was in my parents room as a child, and the weekends were for doing the housework, not for watching cartoons. I don't feel like I really missed much, based on the stuff my son watched as a child.
