About me

Introduction	Pop's dad always said that he was "Irish and Dutch, and that ain't much". I have found that we descend from Dutch, French, and German individuals who were rich, poor, brave, persistent, resourceful, famous, important and mostly just ordinary. Some decided their families should board ships bound for new worlds, seeking wealth or religious freedom. Most just raised their families and simply lived their lives. Men fought in Indian, Revolutionary, Civil and World Wars. They were civic and religious leaders, beer brewers, hide tanners, and farmers. I honor my ancestors by discovering and sharing their stories. I will post information as I find and organize it so check back periodically.
