Introduction	I've been a housewife for over 20 years. I've home schooled my 4 children for 17 of those 20 years and I still have 7 more wonderful years to go. With 3 children out of the nest and 1 still at home. I have two beautiful granddaughters and a wonderful husband. Engineering the house and this crew (yes even the grown ones)is my full time job and I love it! I believe that keeping a family together takes some effort and is well worth it. Seeing your family grow thru generations is truly a joy. But you must have a balance between nurturing and letting them fly.
Interests	I love photography, reading, roller costers, CHOCOLATE, and traveling.
Favorite books	One of my favorite childhood books is "Little Women". Hence, the name of the blog. I always admired the character Marmie. She always explained things to her girls with such wisdom and raised them to be strong but gentle, loving and kind, hard working,& generous. She encouraged them to be independent, thoughtful,and nurtering. When I read "Little Men" I could see myself having a school like that one day. I guess you could say it was my frame work for my home schooling.
