Introduction	I'm a 27 year old conservative from Austin, Texas. My political ideology stems from generations of my families service to the military. I grew up attending church every Sunday as well as working for my parents small business which manufactures specialty tools for the petrochemical industry. With my background you could almost say I was born to be a Republican! I've voted in every political election possible since the day I turned 18 and I work hard to keep up regularly with the changes taking place in our government. Upon taking our Current Events quiz, I did fairly well answering 10/11 questions correctly but I still have a lot to learn seeing as how I only scored a 63.64% on our civics quiz. While I am minutely proud to have scored above average on both, I know I still have a long way to go and am excited to expand my knowledge through this class and to be able to share my thoughts with all of you. I enjoy thinking critically about American politics and I encourage each of you to challange me as I hope to challange myself and my own beliefs.
