| Introduction | Ishak Nengah is currently one of Malaysia’s leading corporate Master-of-Ceremonies (MC).
He is an MC with a difference as he brings along with him over 30 years of experience in the field of Communications having worked as a journalist, radio and TV broadcaster, as well as Public Relations and Advertising Manager. He is also one of the few who can emcee fluently both in Malay and English. Ishak started his career in 1972 as a newspaper journalist. Five years later he joined a PR agency and in 1981 started using his voice professionally when he joined the Malay Section of the British Broadcasting Corporation’s (BBC) World Service in London. He returned to Kuala Lumpur in 1985, and served in various communications functions with companies including Goodyear Malaysia Berhad, Indah Water Konsortium and Malaysia International Shipping Corporation. From 1992 to 1997, he also served as a part-time news reader with TV3. Over the years, Ishak has emceed numerous events – big and small – including those attended by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong as well as the Prime Minister. |
