After a confusing ride, dealing with conflicting and confusing messages from within the animal movement, I finally arrived at a philosophy that just made sense. Veganism is not some mystical end goal. It is not hard, nor is it elitist. It is the starting point. It is the very least that we can do if we take the rights of animals seriously. It is easy, healthy, and most importantly, it is the right thing to do. |
