Introduction	As a marketer with 26 years of print and web publishing experience, I have helped major brands and media properties succeed in connecting with their customers and constituencies. I have a love of words and information that comes from being the daughter of a college professor and having earned a degree in liberal arts. For the last 7 years, I was the co-founder of a successful marketing company called Tendo Communications. In 2006, I made the decision to combine my marketing knowledge with my passion for progressive politics and issues. As a recent convert to the green movement, I have launched another company, EcoVertex, which is dedicated to making home environments make you feel as good as they look. Meanwhile, I live my rather ordinary life in as responsible and sustainable way as I can.
