| Introduction | Raul Ccolque started Alpaca Expeditions with the goal of building an entirely locally run company with a strong emphasis on supporting his local Andean people and his community. He started as a porter on the Inca trail at the age of 18 and quickly moved up being an english speaking tour guide and has trekked to Machu Picchu over 650 times - leading hikers on every trail open to visitors. The vast experiences that he has gained from his work as both a porter and guide has led him to start Alpaca Expeditions. |
