| Introduction | "JoJo", Antonio Jorge Santos, born in Maputo, Mozambique in 1952, studied fine arts with Professor João Boaventura in the 1960s. At age 22, in 1974, he moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where for more than twenty years he worked as an engineer and a systems analyst. In 1996 he returned to fine arts, developing his oil painting technique using the human body as his central subject. |
