| Introduction | Originating from the Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotland, I now live in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. Since my arrival in October 2007 I have taken part in a few exhibitions in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. These beautiful cities, the entire country in fact has been a complete inspiration for me to not only create but to understand the world around me on a very real and raw level. South Africa is full of innovation, strength, creativity, possibility and diversity, she has her eyes open and it is exciting to be part of that. I am a photographer, a sculptor and Land artist, I am and always will be developing my skills, forever learning, forever teaching. My aim, to speak my voice, my message and my perspective to the widest audiences, to communicate with as many demographics as possible. This is all possible for me with the use of the beautiful, expressive and universal language of visual arts. |
