| Introduction | Before I moved to Washington, DC, my only experiences of DC involved childhood summer vacations with my family that involved sweating profusely while looking at monuments to dead white men. So when I accepted a job here in 2003, I had considerable trepidation about the amount of fun to be had amongst the people who run this fine country. In my tenure here, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the amount of fun you can have in this town, if you properly apply yourself. This blog shares my experiences on where to drink, where to eat while drinking so you don’t puke, how to get home while drunk without getting a DUI and where to occasionally exercise so you can work off drinking calories. |
